Welcome to the CarpeDM community! Everyone is held to the same standard on CarpeDM. If you violate our standards, you will be removed. We’re asking you to be considerate, think before you act, and abide by our community guidelines both on and offline. That’s right, your offiine behavior can lead to termination of your CarpeDM membership.

1. Be Honest (about who you are and what you’re looking for).
2. Be Respectful (of others' time and privacy).
3. Be Open (give your curated matches a chance, they were selected for a reason).
4. Be Responsive (to match suggestions and messages).
5. Be Reasonable (about your expectations in a partner).
6. Be Decent (inappropriate sexual and or threatening behavior will not be tolerated).
7. Be Kind (while someone might not be right for you, they deserve kindness and consideration for putting themselves out there).
8. Be Committed (we provide the space, but your commitment to finding love is what creates the community).
9. Be Persistent (don’t give up or settle, trust the process and enjoy your journey to finding love).
10. Be Safe (use technology wisely, do your own due diligence before taking your relationship off-line).
OUR POLICIES
Below is a list of our community policies. If you violate any of these policies, you might be banned from CarpeDM. We take violations of our community standards seriously and will remove any members who are unable to respect others and act according to these standards. We encourage you to report any behavior that violates our policies.
Nudity/Sexual Content
The beauty of CarpeDM is its use of video chat to help users connect on a deeper level faster. However, we recognize that some users may take advantage of this feature to subject others to unwanted content. Such conduct will not be tolerated. Users must keep all content appropriate for public consumption. No nudity, no sexually explicit content, and don’t chronicle all of your sexual desires in your bio. Keep it clean.
Harassment
Do not engage, or encourage others to engage, in any targeted abuse or harassment against any other user. This includes sending any unsolicited sexual content to your matches. Reports of stalking, threats, bullying, or intimidation, are taken very seriously.
Violence and Physical Harm
We do not tolerate violent, graphic, or gory content on CarpeDM, or any actions or content that advocate for or threaten violence of any sort, including threatening or promoting terrorism. Physical assault, coercion, and any acts of violence are strictly prohibited.
Content that advocates for or glorifies suicide or self-harm is also not allowed. In these situations, we may take a number of steps to assist the user, including reaching out with crisis resources.
Hate SpeechAny content that promotes, advocates for, or condones racism, bigotry, hatred, or violence against individuals or groups based on factors like (but not limited to) race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, disability, gender, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity is not allowed.
Private Information
CarpeDM is a vetted membership community. Our members are high profile, successful, influential, and private. We value their privacy and so shall you. That is why we do not permit screenshots in the app and use additional privacy features where appropriate. You should not broadcast any private information, yours or anyone else’s. This includes social security numbers, passports, passwords, financial information or unlisted contact information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, or home/work address. This also includes sharing publically another member’s profile or the mere fact that they are a member of the community without their express permission. Violation of our privacy expectations may result in the suspension or termination of your membership with no refund. If a member has violated your privacy, you may report them through the app or by sending an email to

Impersonation and Spam
With our member onboarding process and innovative video chat feature, maintaining fake profiles will be difficult. However, don’t be fake. Do not impersonate, or otherwise misrepresent affiliation, connection or association with, any person or entity. This includes parody accounts. If you suspect you’re engaging with a fake member profile or impersonator, report the profile to admin.
Promotion or Solicitation
Soliciting other users is prohibited on CarpeDM. It’s fine to invite your matches to something that you’re doing, but if the purpose of your profile is to advertise your event or business, non-profit, political campaign, contest, or to conduct research, we may delete your account and cancel your membership with no refund.
Prostitution and Trafficking
Promoting or advocating for commercial sexual services, human trafficking or other non-consensual sexual acts is strictly prohibited and will result in your account being banned and the termination of your membership with no refund.
Scamming
CarpeDM has a zero-tolerance policy on predatory behavior of any kind. Anyone attempting to get other users’ private information for fraudulent or illegal activity may be banned. Any user caught sharing their own financial account information (PayPal, Venmo, etc.) for the purpose of receiving money from other users may also be banned from CarpeDM.
Adult Use
You must be 21 years of age or older to use or become a member of CarpeDM. As such, we do not allow images of unaccompanied minors. If you want to post photos of your children, please make sure that you are in the photo as well. If you see a profile that includes an unaccompanied minor, encourages harm to a minor, or depicts a minor in a sexual or suggestive way, please report it to admin immediately.
Copyright and Trademark Infringement
If it is not yours, do not post it. If your CarpeDM profile includes any work that is copyrighted or trademarked by others, do not display it, unless you are allowed to do so.
Illegal Usage
Don’t use CarpeDM to do anything illegal. If it’s illegal in real life, it’s illegal on CarpeDM. If you see illegal behavior by a member, report their profile to admin immediately.
One Person, One Membership Account
CarpeDM membership accounts cannot have multiple owners, so don’t create an account with your friend or significant other or attempt to create multiple personal accounts.
Third Party Apps
The use of any apps created by anyone other than CarpeDM that claim to offer our service or unlock special CarpeDM features is not allowed.
Account Dormancy
At CarpeDM we penalize bad online dating behavior. That includes failing to timely engage with your matches. If you need a break from dating, you can hide your account in the menu settings, contact your Matchmaker, or reach out to an admin. If you otherwise fail to engage in accordance with our policies, your membership may be suspended or canceled with no refund.
REPORT ALL BAD BEHAVIOR
On CarpeDM:
● While browsing, expand the user’s profile and tap the “Report” button in the top corner, select the reason for reporting or type in a message to send us a report.
● From your matches or message screen, tap the user’s photo and the click “Report” button to send us a quick, anonymous report.
●During a video call, end the call and tap the “Report” button on the pop-up menu.

Report@carpedmdating.com CarpeDM reserves the right to investigate and/or terminate your account without a refund of your membership or any purchases if you have misused the Service or behaved in a way that CarpeDM regards as inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of the
Terms of Use, including actions or communications that occur off the Service but involve members or users you meet through the Service.
